LegalAid: Registry is Opened
LegalAid focuses on all areas of law, highlighting legal issues throughout the world. From issues in international law such as human rights, to disputes in large businesses in corporate law, LegalAid aims to cover all. While many people may struggle to understand current legal events happening today, LegalAid has developed an initiative to change that, breaking down parts of the law to help people understand them more easily.
Beyond educating the public on legal issues and raising awareness, LegalAid also seeks to drive direct change through petitions. These petitions will advocate for reforms to existing laws and policies, push governments to take action, and propose the creation of new legislation.
Finally, LegalAid is pleased to announce that we are currently working towards helping low-income families. Many low-income minorities have little to no representation on major news outlets, causing many people to be unaware of the issues they face. LegalAid aims to change that by spreading awareness of issues and educating people on the legal reasons why low-income families struggle to receive aid. To unify as a community and help the under-represented, we must first break the false rhetoric that low-income families are simply "lazy." In the future, LegalAid wishes to engage in fundraising to give these families aid, but we have yet to form a concrete plan.
